Downtown Macon's Third Street is getting the Hollywood treatment.
It has people buzzing about Harrison Ford's production crew coming to town and getting the block of businesses ready for the new movie "42."
"Our freight elevator door that comes out to the parking lot, they say the're going to transform that into a drinking fountain," says Alan Anthony who works at Blair Furniture.
Filmmakers are also using some movie magic to give several storefronts a more historic look so they resemble businesses in 1940's Daytona Beach.
"They said they were going to make this street like Daytona Beach 1947, and I thought why not go to Daytona Beach there instead of Macon," says Rob Holman, co-owner and manager of Central Park Pizza.
Anthony says he can't wait to see the makeshift fountain.
"They said that's where Jackie Robinson's mother will take a drink at the fountain. It's, by the time and day, is going to cause friction."
The five businesses marked with a striped awning will all be a part of "42."
Anthony says the 42 production crew took notice of the awning. He says Blair furniture will turn into a department store in the movie.
"Whoever decided that, they really have good taste," says avid Harrison Ford fan Mildred Ford.
Anthony hopes to meet Ford while he films in the area.
"I'd like to give him something." He walks over to the basket of Delta Spoons and chooses one. "This because it's a collectible."
The street transformation begins later this weekend. Business people say filming on Third Street will begin Friday the 15th and wrap up Tuesday the 19th.
During the filming, Central Park Pizza will break from their normal night hours and open from 11-2 p.m for lunch.
