A few of the cast members from the movie '42' used their downtime from filming to relax and play some actual baseball.

The group came out to Mount De Sales baseball field on Saturday afternoon.

It was a friendly game of baseball between Team "42" and the Tigers of the Middle Georgia Baseball League.

Chris Dunn, president of the League, organized the game so the cast and crew can have something to do over the weekend. Dunn said about nine people showed up to take part in the game.

13WMAZ's Chief Meteorologist Ben Jones, threw out the opening pitch.

The catcher on Team 42, Steven Pickett, says he loves making a movie but is glad to return to his first love, baseball.

"I'm a tell ya, playing a good game of baseball any day hands down definitely," said Pickett. "A movie experience is cool but I like to get in there and play and that's why I like it out here it's fun."

Filming for the movie starts back up again on Monday.
