We know it as Terminal Station, but in the movie '42,' the station will function as an airport terminal.

Even with the road and entrance into the station blocked off in preparation for filming, that didn't stop curious extras from checking out the scene.

"I'm here to be a part of the filming of the movie '42.' I'm playing a reporter," says Bernard Mason from Augusta.

"I actually play a photojournalist. So I carry one of those big 1940's cameras around," says Stephen Cheshire also from Augusta.

As the crew spruced up the exterior, the most noticeable change was hanging right in front of the building. The production crew rolled out a star-spangled banner that covered the glass windows of the station.

"Oh, it's so exciting. I've never been part of a movie before. Even though I'm just an extra, it's been really fun being near the stars and getting to play a role in it," says Cheshire.

All the major changes happened inside the walls.

Unit publicist Ernie Malik says filming will begin in the afternoon and run into the evening. The parking lot at the station is set to cleared out 4 p.m. He says most of the shooting will happen inside Terminal Station.
