The homecoming parade for members of the 48th Brigade is Saturday morning.
Melissa McKenzie, the coordinator for the family readiness group, says it starts at 10 a.m. at the front gates of Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. A special ceremony will be held afterwards at 11 a.m. at the school's Davenport field.
Ryan Logan with the Red Cross says his organization is also sponsoring a family fun day later in the afternoon at the armory center.
