On Friday, July 30, you can help welcome home more than 300 members of the Macon-based 48th Brigade.
The soldiers arrived back on Georgia soil in April after a year-long deployment to Afghanistan, training Afghan police and military.
During Friday's parade, the troops will march through downtown Macon, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
They'll start at the Terminal Station on Cherry Street and continue to Cotton Avenue, then First Street, and end at city hall for a ceremony at 11 a.m.
The community is invited to line the streets and show support for the soldiers by wearing red, white, and blue and waving flags.
