Cutting down trees and clearing out this field, people have been working to clean up the site where Allman will be buried.

Gregg Allman will only be a few feet away from his brother, Duane Allman, and Berry Oakley, another founding member of the Allman Brothers Band.

And one of the Allman Brothers' favorite spots was H&H Restaurant, and they say food prep is a big part of preparing for the steady flood of people that are expected to show up Saturday.

H&H's manager says they've had to prep every day this week with so many Allman fans coming into town to pay their respects, so they are feeling more prepared for crowds.

And over at Lawrence Mayer floral shop, employees have been working all day preparing arrangements for Allman's funeral.

Some coming from pretty big names.

The guitar arrangement came from Warren Haynes, who was a former guitarist in the band.

The bird arrangement comes from Lynyrd Skynyrd with a note saying "Fly high, free bird."

And the giant mushroom was sent from the rest of the Allman band and his wife with the positive message that "the road goes on forever."

The shop says that they've ordered even more flowers to prepare for fans who may want to stop by and grab some flowers in honor of Allman.

On Saturday, there will be a private service at Snow's Memorial Chapel at 1 p.m. in memory of Gregg Allman.
