The U.S. Postal Service put a temporary suspension on the Wrightsville Post Office Friday afternoon due to ‘facility issues.’

A release from the USPS says people in Johnson County will still be able to purchase stamps, mail packages, and pick up mail from their P.O. box from a new manned mobile unit outside the post office building.

Package delivery has been moved to the post office in Sandersville.

The hours of the mobile unit are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday and Friday, Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
