Mother-daughter duo stab student at bus stop, police say
ATLANTA – Police are looking for a mother-daughter duo who are accused of attacking and stabbing a middle school student who was waiting at a bus stop.
The incident happened on Nov. 3 when a student from Bunche Middle School was waiting for the school bus along Mt. Gilead Road, near Meadowlane Drive, according to the Atlanta Public School System.
APS detectives are looking for Taza Harris and her daughter Chelsea Harris who have warrants for their arrest. The duo is accused of stabbing the student puncturing his hand, head, and ear during the altercation.
The student was transported to Hughes-Spaulding Hospital where he was treated and is recovering.
No other students were endangered at the time of the altercation, APS said.
