Bibb deputies are searching for the man accused of robbing the State Bank on Zebulon Road.

According to Lieutenant Randy Gonzalez with the Bibb Sheriff's Office, the robbery happened just after 4-:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. A man in his late 20s or early 30s wearing a light colored button up shirt, walked in the bank and passed the teller a note asking for money. The teller then gave him cash before he ran out of the bank.

No word on how much cash was taken from the scene.

Lt. Gonzalez says the robber left in a black or dark blue Toyota Corolla.

No one was injured during the robbery.
