Justin McDuffie joined 13WMAZ in June of 2015 as a multimedia journalist.

Just as Rome was not built in a day, neither is an aspiring journalist. Attending a prestigious journalism school and working directly in the field, he has learned it takes a dedicated, confident and passionate individual to fit this industry.

Justin graduated from Arizona State University after pursuing a Journalism degree with a broadcast specialization from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During his time at the Cronkite school he worked as a reporter for Cronkite News, the Cronkite Schools nightly news show that airs on Arizona PBS.

Justin was able to intern in Charleston, SC at the local NBC affiliate and at the network level with CBS News in New York. Those experiences allowed him to develop into the reporter he is today. He also spent time as a production assistant for ESPN and the Pac-12 Networks. Justin has had to opportunity to cover many events and stories from the Supreme Courts decision to overturn same-sex marriage bans to the 2015 Super Bowl.

Walter Cronkite once said, "I can't imagine a person becoming a success who doesn't give this game of life everything he's got." Justin takes this idea head on after relocating to Central Georgia to begin his journalism career.

In his free time Justin enjoys traveling the world, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. If you have a story idea you can email him at jrmcduffie@13WMAZ.com.

Keep up with Justin on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
