1 dead, 2 injured after party at south Macon home turns deadly

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the fatal shooting is Macon's 7th homicide of 2018.

A man is dead and two people are injured after an overnight shooting at a house party in south Macon.

A news release from the Bibb Sheriff’s Office says there was a party at a home on Ibex Street around 1 a.m.

It was reported to deputies that an argument started and an unknown person pulled out a gun and began firing.

21-year-old Monterrius Dugger was shot twice in the chest and later died at the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Ramone Smith, 25, was shot in the right knee and Jessica Fullwood, 27, was shot in the foot.

The two are listed in stable condition.

The news release says the suspect left the scene before deputies arrived.
