An armed robbery happened at the AK Express, located at 1091 Clinton Road. Thursday morning, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says two males came into the store just before 12:00 a.m.. The report says one male was armed with a handgun and the other male had a long stick.

The Sheriff’s Office says the male with the handgun approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk at the store, and he got an “undisclosed amount of cash.” According to the report, after getting the cash both men fled the store in an unknown direction, and the clerk had no injuries.

The report says the first male suspect is described as having a medium build, dark complexion, and around 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 10 inches. The Sheriff’s department says he was wearing a short sleeve blue t-shirt, dark pants, dark shoes with a white bandana tied around his face.

The second male suspect was described as dark complexion according to the Sheriff’s Department. The report says he was wearing a sleeveless black t-shirt, dark pants, and white shoes with a white shirt over his face with a blue backpack.
