Axe throwing business open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday

Splinters Axe House in Warner Robins opened Thursday evening to give folks something to do after putting up the leftovers.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — If Thanksgiving day festivities or Black Friday shopping isn't your thing, why not try something a little untraditional -- like axe throwing!

Splinters Axe House in Warner Robins opened Thursday evening to give folks something to do after putting up the leftovers.

Owner Chad Marshall says its a great activity for all kinds of folks.

It would certainly help you vent some frustration after spending the day with extended family...

"Axe throwing as simple as it may be, is a great way to relieve stress, or to just have a good time. It sparks competitiveness among friends and at the same time allows you to get some aggression out," said Marshall.

Marshall also said he wanted to open their doors to people in the area, and to working military who couldn't make it home for the holiday.

They  stayed open until 11 p.m. on Thursday, and will open at 2 p.m. on black Friday.
