A Macon boy was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Sunday evening.
Deputy Clay Williams with the Bibb Sheriff’s Office says the child was playing near Maynard Street around 5:30 p.m. when he ran into the road.
The driver hit the boy causing minor injuries.
The boy was taken to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. The child’s name was not released.
Williams says no charges will be filed because the boy darted out in front of the car while it was in motion.
