Car enthusiasts met up Sunday for a car show and gathering at the Georgia National Fairgrounds.

The Southeast Regional Car Club held its 12th Annual Southeast Shindig Car Show.

Zane Shockley helps put on the event and says it's the perfect way to meet up with car enthusiasts from all over.

"This is a nice, safe place for us to meet up as car enthusiasts to share our ideas and our passions for modern muscle,” said Shockley. “We get to discuss what we're doing with our vehicles, show them off and have a popular ballot for whoever the most popular car is and then they win an award at our awards show."

This is the first year the show has been held at the fairgrounds in Perry.
