Hundreds of people came out in their Halloween costumes for a trunk-or-treat event Sunday in Warner Robins.
Christ Chapel church was filled with dozens of decorated trunks for kids to go and get candy. Trunks were turned into anything from a McDonalds drive-thru to a stage for a rock band.
Christ Chapel's children's pastor David Clymer says every year the event gets larger because of the safe environment it gives kids to trick-or-treat.
“We do this every year around Halloween time. It’s kind of a safe atmosphere for the families in the area of our church...that way they’re not intermixed within their cars, and it’s a lighter time of day to keep it safe for their families,” said Clymer.
Clymer says they plan to hold this event again next year.
