At just three years old, Connor Reed Lanier has already made it through an impressive reading list.
His mother Angel says she and Connor's "Nanny" have been reading at least two books to him every night for more than two years.
Now, Connor is one of only three children to finish the "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" program at the Laurens County Library. He's also the youngest to ever complete the challenge.
The program's website says the goal is to encourage more parents to read to babies and toddlers and use the time to bond with their children.
Connor's mother says her son enjoys their time together and has become a very good listener during story time.
She says they are now working on their goal to read 14 more books this summer.
