Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to be in one of the military's special forces units?
This weekend, 24 people in Perry will get the chance to prove that they could make the cut.
The Guardian Center is hosting the Green Beret Challenge.
Friday night, those 24 competitors will train like a Green Beret and will have 24 hours to complete a mock mission. They'll do things like rappel from buildings, navigate a flooded city, and even shoot airsoft rifles.
Organizer and CEO Mark Ballas says these are all things he did to become a real life Green Beret. He says the Guardian Center is perfect spot for their competition.
“You’ve got these blown-out buildings, underground subways and tunnels, and really unique training not many venues across the country offer, so it makes the whole experience much more realistic,” Ballas said.
