We're down to the final days before all the kids will be out of school for Christmas.
Time for one more My Teacher is Tops before Christmas break begins.
Shelley Shillcutt has been a teacher for 20 years.
At Langston Road Elementary in Perry, she teaches everything from math to science and social studies. She says being a teacher means the world to her.
Always trying to be as hands-on as possible, she wants to show her students how what they learn applies in real life.
Student Grace Moon wrote a wonderful letter about Mrs. Shillcutt, and it was the perfect gift.
"It means so much because sometimes I think it's easy to forget the impact you have on kids every day, so it means a lot and I think I was very surprised when I saw y'all walk in the door," Shillcutt says.
If you think you have the best teacher, you can send WMAZ a one-page, handwritten letter to My Teacher is Tops, 1314 Gray Highway, Macon 31211.
