A Macon man died in an accident in Monroe County Sunday.
A news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office says it happened just after 1 a.m. on I-475 near mile marker 13.
Investigators say Scott Peace, 38, lost control of his SUV while traveling north. He then struck the median concrete barrier and overturned multiple times.
Peace was ejected from the car and struck by two other vehicles traveling the same route. He died at the scene.
Fatality investigators say speed was a major factor in the accident.
I-475 was closed for several hours, but has since re-opened.
