A Warner Robins man is out on bond after he allegedly left the scene of a wreck on Saturday.
According to an incident report from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was sent to a wreck in the 600-block of Manning Mill around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
The deputy arrived at to find a green Toyota pickup truck in the back of the house and a broken fence.
The report says a witness gave the tag number of a truck that was towing the green Toyota.
A search on both tag numbers came back to Marco Antonio Vasquez-Lopez, of Warner Robins.
On Sunday, Lopez’s estranged wife convinced him to speak with investigators at the Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report, Lopez told them he was driving his Ford F-250 when the Toyota he was towing came loose and crashed into the house. He said he was scared and left the scene.
He was then taken to the Bibb County Jail.
The jail information system says Lopez is charged with hit and run, an immigration offense, and misc.
