Police in Montezuma found a man dead after a shooting on T E Moone Street.

Chief Eric R. Finch Sr., says officers got a call just before 8p.m. Saturday night.

They found the victim lying in the yard. Medical staff pronounced Willie Laster dead at the scene. He suffered from several gunshot wounds.

Another victim, Aaron McDonald was also shot in the arm, he was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to a Macon hospital.

Finch says Laster and McDonald got into an argument and struggled for a gun, when both were shot. He said they were neighbors.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in and Finch says no charges will be made until they discuss the matter with the District Attorney.
