Tuesday is day two of the search for 18-year-old Samuel Poss of Perry. Perry Police Captain Heath Dykes says on Tuesday, crews focused on searching a new area-- a creek that runs through the woods near Frank Satterfield Road and Tucker Road. Captain Dykes says crews didn't find anything of interest during the search Tuesday, but they will continue searching Wednesday morning with cadaver dogs.

"There's a creek area that runs through this property that takes a little bit more time to get through it," Dykes said.

Captain Dykes says every tip the police have received so far, has come up cold.

"We had a sighting on Lake Joy Road," Dykes said. "We confirmed that was another kid. His mother called this morning."

Dykes says cell phone evidence suggests Sam did go to his friend's house on Tucker Road around 12:00 a.m. early Saturday morning. He says he believes the last time anyone saw Sam, he was leaving that friend's house around 1:30 a.m.

Dykes says police are currently examining evidence to determine if he made it home before he went missing.

Sam's father, Christian Poss, says he suspects foul play.

"I think something happened on the road walking back from his friend's house," Christian Poss said. "I can't say for certain obviously. Somebody forced him in a car or something."

Nicole Poss, Sam's mother, says she believes her son is in danger. She says her son would never just go missing and worry the family.

"He loves his computer," Nicole Poss said. "He loves his electronics. He's just a sweet, good kid. He's respectful. He's everything you would want in a son."

Samuel Poss was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, grey shorts, he is 5'8, 140 pounds, has curly brown hair, and brown eyes.
