Three men robbed a Dollar General store at gunpoint in west Macon Monday.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it happened on Bloomfield Road just after 8:40 p.m.

Deputies were told two men came into the store armed with a handgun and shotgun. A third man stood watch at the front store, also armed.

One of the men demanded money from both of the store's cash registers and to open the safe. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the men ran away.

Police say all of the men wore black clothing and masks.

No one was injured.
