A Macon convenience store was robbed after 9:00, and a Macon dollar store was robbed just before 9:00 on Friday night.

The incidents occurred at the Crazy Game Show Lottery Store located in the 4400 block of Columbus Road and the Dollar General in the 3700 block of Houston Avenue, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.

The release says during the incident at the Crazy Game Show Lottery Store, a store employee was going into the store when the suspect came up from behind pressing a weapon into the employee's back.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and ran.

At the Dollar General, a suspect is reported to have entered the store demanding money.

The suspect brandished a shot gun and fired one shot into the ceiling. After taking an unknown amount of money, he took off on foot.

No one was hurt during either incident.
