Three people have been arrested and charged with murder after a fatal drive-by shooting in Milledgeville in November.
Jalil Solomon was shot to death on November 6.
Cpt. Brad King with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office says Solomon was in the car with three other people when he was shot to death.
King says they have evidence to prove the four men went to the Central Avenue area with the intent to carry out a drive-by shooting.
The driver of the car fired shots and that’s when the person in the yard of 126 Central Ave. returned fire, killing Solomon.
But the three people in the car are being charged with Solomon’s murder.
They are 24-year-old Jemerius Goodman, 21-year-old Malik Taylor and an unnamed 15-year-old.
"Anytime the death of another human being is caused during the commission of a felony, it is the textbook definition of felony murder. So the driver, and the two other passengers in the vehicle have been charged with 4 counts of aggravated assault and 1 count of felony murder,” said King.
The three charged are being held in the Baldwin County jail.
