UPDATE: 1:30 PM:
GBI Special Agent in Charge Scott Whitley says the bodies were discovered around 8:45 a.m. when a neighbor asked deputies to check on the couple's welfare.
He said the deputy entered the home and found "evidence of foul play."
Whitley said an autopsy at a GBI crime lab will try to determine the cause of death.
They are continuing to investigate, and the GBI is not releasing any further details, such as the victims' names.

The GBI is investigating the death of an elderly Dodge County couple as a double homicide.
Special Agent Scott Whitley says the couple, both in their 60s, were found in their home and investigators found signs of foul play.
He would not give further details.
So far, their names have not been released, but Whitley says it happened at their home on Highway 126 -- south of Chester.
