Have a love for history and Christmas? If so, Vineville's Christmas Tour of Homes might just be for you.

A tradition since the 1980s, the tour of homes happens every other year, showcasing homes from a variety of eras and styles.

People who take the tour experience Macon's first suburb through 10 stops, including eight homes.

Proceeds go back into the Historic Vineville Neighborhood Association's revitalization efforts.

Lauren Morrill-Ragusea says the location changes, so the tour is new every year.

"You know, you drive around and you look at these homes and they look so beautiful from the outside, and you always wonder what's inside, and this is your chance to go in and really see, not just the homes, but also they will be decked out for the holidays, which just makes them even more beautiful," she says.

The tour December happens this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m.
