If you are still searching for something to do this weekend, the Vintage Market Days event is in Central Georgia for the first time.

People lined up for the event at the Georgia National Fairgrounds at 10 a.m. Friday to shop for vintage inspired items from furniture to clothing. Many items are handmade and customized for those who love a vintage look.

The market is normally held in Oklahoma or Texas but there are vendors from 18 states. Many, like Kathy Robb, are from Texas and were rerouted on their trip to Georgia following the heavy damage after Harvey.

"The devastation though in Houston I think surpassed everyone's expectations or forecasts. Typically, I would go through Louisianan or Houston to get here and so gasoline was already an issue so I had to route myself around the issues,” says Robb.

The Vintage Market Days event goes all weekend until Sunday. It will run until 5 p.m. Friday. It is $10 for adults to get in and kids 12 and under are free.
