Warner Robins police will be out in force on Friday night, according to a release from the department.

Officers are kicking off Middle Georgia Traffic Enforcement Network’s Zero Tolerance campaign.

The department says it is calling it, “Operation Safe Streets.”

There will be several officers out at safety checkpoints across the city. They are attempting to stop and deter impaired drivers this holiday season.

The release says the campaign is in coordination with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

The checkpoints begin at 7:00 p.m. and will end at 4:00 a.m.
