About $53,000 worth of marijuana was seized on Tuesday in two north Georgia counties.
Two men were arrested, while a third is being sought by police.
The busts were made in Habersham and Rabun counties.
Five marijuana plants were found at the residence of Jake Pritchett in Clarkesville, while Rabun County authorities found nine marijuana plants at Ralph Owens’ residence in Clayton. Both Pritchett, 26, and Owens, 57, were charged with manufacturing marijuana and taken to jail.
Police said they found nine marijuana plants growing outside and 30 marijuana plants growing inside the residence of Jonathan Clark, 38, in Clarkesville, along with methamphetamine and a handgun. Clark is facing charges of manufacturing marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
