Skaters at Old Fourth Ward Park were graced with skating royalty Sunday when legendary pro Tony Hawk popped in to show off some moves.

The 48-year-old showed up with no fanfare and no sponsors.

Coleman Cann said he was biking home along the Atlanta Beltline with a friend when they stopped by the skate park. As they approached, the friend said a skater in the park looked a lot of like Tony Hawk.

"That's definitely Tony Hawk," Cann said.

Hawk gave another lucky fan his skateboard and then took off for the airport.

The park is familiar territory for Hawk; his foundation contributed $25,000 towards its construction and he was the first person to skate there at its grand opening back in 2011.

According to Hawk's social media accounts, he was possbily in Georgia to see a friend graduate from Emmanuel College, which is in Franklin Springs.
