UGA fans gotta be celebrating today after their 31-10 victory over App state in their season opener on Saturday and one reason why has to be with how good back-up quarterback Jake Fromm looked last night leading the offense after Jacob Eason's injury

The Houston County grad got the keys to the car in the first quarter, and the offense was clicking.... He did a good job of moving the ball down the field and Of course Fromm and the Dawgs incorporated a strong running game with their tag team of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.... Chubb scored two touchdowns rushing for 96, while Michel rushed for 87 yards and also reached the endzone one time.... Fromm made some tough throws in his debut including his first touchdown pass of his college career, a 34 yard strike to Javon Wims.

That touchdown pass capped off an 86 yard drive which the offense completed in 4 plays. Fromm finished the day 10-15 with one touchdown pass and threw for 143 yards. Now we've seen Fromm play like this when he was at Houston County, so we weren't surprised and neither were his teammates.
