The Mercer women's basketball team extended their winning streak to 7 games after blasting South Carolina State 74-53 behind KeKe Calloways 26 point performance a career high, giving head coach Susie Gardner her 300th win of her career.

It was a night filled of milestones and accomplishments for the Mercer squad who improved to 10-2, and the celebration began before the game when senior Sydni Means was honored with a game ball for recording her 500th assist in the contest before.

Calloway drilled 7 three pointers in the contest, and led the Bears in scoring with 26. South Carolina State stayed close with the Bears in the first quarter, but Mercer pulled away in the 2nd quarter having a 10 point lead at the half.

It was also a historic night for Kahlia Lawrence who scored 17 points and 11 rebounds, and with those 17 points she passed Sybil Blalock in career points to become the 6th all-time scorer in Mercer history. She now has 1,863 career points.

The Bears are back at home on Thursday to wrap up their three game homestand when they take on Howard.
