No. 25 Georgia (3-2) lost to No. 11 Tennessee (5-0) 34-31.
It was a painful loss for Georgia, who is now 1-2 in the SEC, and it puts them in an incredibly tough position in the SEC East.
While Smart was disappointed, he said his players learned a valuable life lesson that they can use when facing any adversity in life.
Georgia goes back on the road next Saturday for another SEC East match-up against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
