This week's Georgia back of the week was awarded to senior quarterback Savion Knowlton from Westside. Savion threw for 196 yards and rushed for 106 yards adding up to a total of 302 yards. He also completed 13-27 passes and threw a touchdown pass.

The Georgia lineman of the week goes to Willie Gorman the junior from Rutland High. He blocked a pass, and had a fumble recovery for a touchdown as his team beat Kendrick 23-18.

Alexander Rivera Jr. from Mary Persons was named the Special Teams Player of the Week. He nailed a 43 yard field goal as time expired to lift the Bulldogs to a 17-14 win over Spalding County.

The guest speaker was former Georiga quarterback and head coach Ray Goff. He served as the head coach for the Bulldogs from 1989-1995. Goff played quarterback under Vince Dooley from 1974-1976.
