The Mercer Bears baseball team fell short against Kennesaw State as they wrapped up their nonconference schedule this year.

The Bears scored their first run of the game in the first inning off a Danny Edgeworth RBI single, but would not cross the plate again for the entire game and lost 6-1.

This was the Bears first game since they clinched the regular season Southern Conference title against Wofford over the weekend. The Bears will wrap up the regular season this weekend when they host Western Carolina for a three game series starting Thursday night.
