Brittiny Barber joined the Eyewitness News team as a Multimedia Journalist in December of 2010.
Before moving to Central Georgia, she worked for two years as a Producer and Reporter at KTXS in Abilene, Texas. At KTXS, she covered a wide variety of stories from west Texas storms to oil well blowouts and even the Abilene High Eagles winning a football state championship.
After spending two years in Texas, Brittiny is excited to get back to the Peach State where she was born and raised. She is from Williamson, and that's where her family still lives.
Brittiny graduated from Georgia Southern University in May 2008 with a Broadcasting degree. During her time at GSU, she served as News Director at her college radio station and was active in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. She interned at WTVM in Columbus, Georgia.
When she's not reporting the news, you can find Brittiny spending time with her family and friends, enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, camping or skiing, playing with her dog, Fancy, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
