Candace Adorka joined the 13WMAZ news team in April 2011 as a Multimedia Journalist.
Prior to coming to 13WMAZ, Candace was a producer and anchor for Mid-Florida Public Radio in Gainesville, Fla. and a weekend multimedia journalist at WCJB TV 20.
Candace is a 2010 master's graduate of Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism and a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida, where she majored in broadcast journalism and minored in meteorology.
Born in Ghana and raised in Lesotho, Southern Africa, Candace has never, for the record, owned a pet lion. She does, however, have two wonderful and well-traveled tabby kitties.
Candace moved to Palm Bay, Fla. when she was 13 years old and attended Bayside High School -- a decision which has left her forever vulnerable to Saved By the Bell jokes.
At 13WMAZ, Candace is excited to tell captivating and informative stories about and for Central Georgians.
