Police are searching for two people that they say robbed a Macon convenience store Tuesday night.
According to a police news release, two men entered the Top Line store at 4915 Bloomfield Road just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, armed with handguns.
According to the release, one of the men went behind the counter and took some money. His picture was captured by surveillance cameras.
The other man, according to police, acted as the lookout. He is not seen in the photos.
Others in the store at the time of the incident stated that the suspects originally entered the store while talking on their cell phones pretending to be customers.
After the robbery, as the pair ran away, someone inside the store, armed with a gun ran after the suspects and fired two shots. No one was hit and no one was injured during the incident.
