Milledgeville police say they arrested and charged a man with terroristic threats after they read a post he made on social media.

Milledgeville Police Chief Dray Swicord says an officer read a post on Facebook Aug. 9 that talked about "shooting up a school."

Police say the post was made by 32-year-old Steven Martin.

Swicord says they charged Martin with terroristic threats and officers picked him up several hours later walking down a road.

Martin is still in the Baldwin County jail.  He had no prior arrests or criminal record.
