The Bibb County Sheriff's Office arrested a Jonesboro man Friday evening after a tip from authorities in Atlanta, according to a relase.

During a traffic stop, investigators found over 500 tablets of ecstasy in 52-year-old Eric Martin Smart's possession. He was charged with trafficking schedule I drugs and remains in custody without bond at this time.

According to a news release, Bibb investigators were tipped off by "an agency in the Atlanta Metro area" that Smart would be traveling to Macon in a 1999 Ford F-150. 

The tablets have a street value of approximately $5000, according to the news release.
