Two Forsyth councilmen arrested by the FBI on charges of public corruption is scheduled to be in court next week.
According to a news release from the US Attorney's office, Desi Hansford and James Calloway allegedly solicited a $20,000 bribe from a company with a city contract.
Calloway allegedly told the company that the city council was considering giving the contract to another company unless they paid the $20,000.

Both men were indicted Tuesday. Calloway has been a councilman for more than 20 years and Hansford six years.
Hansford was released on $10,000 unsecured bond and ordered to stay within Georgia.
