Bragg Jam: Band schedules, parking, weather, all you need to know

Local musicians tuning up for Bragg Jam

Nineteen venues and more than 70 bands. It must be Bragg Jam!

The festivities kick off Friday with performances by Stokeswood, Cedric Burnside Project, Hank Vegas. This event is sold out, but tickets still remain for Saturday's Concert Crawl. 

Saturday concert crawl forecast:

Showers and storms remain in the forecast through Saturday afternoon as the cold front continues to push through central Georgia. Behind the cold front we'll be slightly cooler and more comfortable with dry weather in place and highs near 90.

Street Closures:

Cherry Street will be closed from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Fifth Street from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday for the “Kid’s Fest.”

The following streets will be closed from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until 3:00 a.m. Sunday:

  • Cherry Street from Second Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
  • Second Street from Poplar Street to Mulberry Street
  • Third Street from Cherry Street to Mulberry Street

No vehicles will be allowed to park within the closed areas of these streets during this time. "No parking" signs have already been posted to give advanced notice to motorists that park in the downtown area.
