Youtube Music Awards Streams Sunday

Just when you thought you heard the last of them, Gangnam Style and the Harlem Shake are back with a vengeance and vying for your votes.

The viral sensations are among the many Internet stars going head-to-head with top 40 royalty this Sunday at the first YouTube Music Awards (streaming live on YouTube, 6 p.m. ET). Winners will be chosen by fan voting, which is open until showtime at

Staged at New York's Pier 36 by film director Spike Jonze, the experimental awards show is said to have no teleprompter or script and will feature a warehouse full of sets, where artists such as Arcade Fire and Lady Gaga will perform "live" music videos. While the verdict's still out on just how actor Jason Schwartzman and comedian Reggie Watts will fare as hosts doubling as presenters, we can at least count on electrifying performances from some of the industry's hottest acts, including Eminem, M.I.A. and Avicii.

Whet your appetite for the festivities with these tracks from your favorite nominated artists and YouTube stars.
