September is childhood cancer awareness month and in honor of those battling cancer, the Jay's Hope Foundation organized a dance to help raise money and celebrate the lives of children.

Kids of all ages, even some adults, dressed up in their best and danced the night away at The Royal Celebration of Hope.
The dance took place at Banks Stephens Middle School in Forsyth.

Kids also got a chance to meet and take pictures with Disney princesses.
Volunteer Marcy Sanders says what helped her cope when her daughter, Katie, was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, was her faith.

"One of the things that helped me was definitely my faith in God and my relationship with Jesus Christ," Sanders said. "Because if it wasn't for that, then my family wouldn't have gotten through this. We are happy to say that although Katie had brain cancer she's gone through radiation and eye surgery as well, she is in remission and she is doing great."

All of the proceeds from the dance go towards the Jay's Hope Foundation.
