The "42" crew is preparing Third Street in downtown Macon for filming Monday morning. Blair Furniture turned into a J.C. Penney's for the movie. The production crew transformed the store's elevator that opens up to the sidewalk into a water fountain. Owner Diana Blair says she was told that Jackie Robinson's wife will take a drink from the fountain. One of the film's location managers says Harrison Ford left Friday, and doesn't plan to return to Macon for filming. All of these photographs were taken by WMAZ's own Suzanne Lawler.

'42' Films at Luther Williams Field

That means the 1940's transformation happened past the police barricades and near the field.
