Hundreds made their way to Jones County to celebrate a festival that's been blooming for 90 years. Families enjoyed a fun day in the sun at the Daylily Festival in Gray.
Heather Busby, with the Gray Station Better Hometown, says they expected around 5,000 people to show up.
More than 100 vendors were on site, ready to serve up food, and show off their arts and crafts. Other activities included a petting zoo and a classic car show.
"It's a lot of good fellowship out here and us car guys, we like doing that," said Horace Harvey of Lizella.
The money raised from the festival will go towards revitalizing downtown Gray.
