Everyday cook

We're looking for people who have a passion for cooking but aren't professionals. If you're an "Everyday Cook" you can come on Eyewitness News Weekend Mornin' and show off your stuff.

Here are some guidelines:
1. You have a 4-minute long segment to prepare your dish. If the dish cannot be fully prepared in that time period, bring a pre-prepared dish to display.
2. Please be ready to make the majority of the dish ON AIR. For example, simply bringing some precooked chicken and pouring on a homemade barbecue sauce is not a cooking segment. MAKE the sauce on air!
3. Our cooking set does NOT have an oven. We have four stovetop burners and electrical outlets to plug in blenders, toasters, countertop grills, etc. If your dish requires an oven, be prepared to SAY the baking instructions while preparing the dish.
4. Please be able to talk and cook at the same time. Our anchor will be on set with you to chat and help out with chopping/mixing/decorating.
5. We're looking for fun, simple and creative recipes.
