Express Clydesdales visit the Cherry Blossom Festival

Weighing in anywhere between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds, the Clydesdales are hard to miss

Express Employment Professionals helps people amp up their resumes, and match people in search of a job with a fitting career.

But, not only are they helping people get into the workforce, they're helping kids, too.

Express visited the Cherry Blossom Festival where they were taking donations to give back the The Children's Miracle Network.

But, kind hearts aren't the only thing the team brought with them.

With hooves the size of dinner plates, standing over five feet tall, weighing in at over 1,000 pounds, their brand ambassador the Clydesdale was available for a photo opportunity.

Dane Bovard, a Clydesdale handler with Express, has been able to visit the children's hospitals where the donations go to and says the kids light up when they see the horses.

"They're in awe, they've never seen something like this, a lot of them have been around horses, but not ones this size," Bovard said.

The horses tour around the world and have taken part in notable parades, such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

Bovard says his job is something he wouldn't trade for anything.

"Being able to interact with people all over the world, it's great," said Bovard.

Our local Express staffing office is in Warner Robins.
